U13 REP Tryouts start Sunday afternoon. See updated schedule for times in yellow. Below are the lists of players that requested to try out for U13 rep and the U13 metro list (non rep). UPDATED 2:30 pm Sept 15th

If interested, a coach Application is under files. Please complete and return to the GBMH office thru any of these options:

·       scan and email it back to Tracey

·       fax your application to the office @ (902)-842-1581

·       drop it off at my office Mon to Fri 9-12 and 1-4pm (slide under my door if you miss me)

2022/2023 GBMH online registration is now open! We encourage everyone to register online this year so we can quickly see our registration numbers and get everyone on the ice a little sooner this season :) 

• If you normally use ticket credit to pay for your registration, select "External Payment"

• All new Glace Bay players to hockey (have never registered with a Minor Hockey Association in the past) have free registration! New players that need help with gear can stop by during the Ticket Pickup dates with your player's information including what gear they need and what size they need.

• If you need to make a payment, select Cash or Cheque, and stop by during the Ticket pickup dates listed below to make a payment. We do not accept e-transfers

• If you have any other questions about registration or your ticket account please stop by during the "Ticket Pickup" dates.

Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce that Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association coach Daryl Babstock is the recipient of our 2022 Clary MacDonald Award.

The Clary MacDonald Award is named in honour of the late Clary MacDonald, a longtime hockey volunteer, and it recognizes our branch's coach of the year.

This year's Clary MacDonald Award winner exemplified fair play, sportsmanship, and dedication as head coach of the provincial champion Glace Bay U15 AA Miners. 

Throughout the season, Daryl worked hard to ensure that his players reached their full potential and were ready for any opponent that they went up against. He not only taught his team how to win, but more importantly, he taught them to lose with their heads held high. A coach and mentor, he was committed to his players, their hockey families, and the entire Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association community.

Putting an emphasis on player development and fair play, he played all of his players in each and every situation.

On and and off the ice, his team always looked up to him as a role model and he helped get the best out of them.

On behalf of everyone at Hockey Nova Scotia, we would like to congratulate Daryl Babstock on receiving our 2022 Clary MacDonald Award.
