U15AA Glace Bay Miners captured the Strait Richmond Coastal Clash defeating the South Shore Lumberjacks 5-1 in the championship game.

The Miners were undefeated in the tournament, outscoring their opponents 26-3 over 5 games.

Due to the inclement weather, all GBMH activities for Monday December 8th are cancelled for the day.

The U15-AA Miners defeated the Halifax Hawks 6-2 in the championship game to win the Ozzie Fraser Memorial Tournament at the County Arena on Sunday. 

Kolby Kaiser opened the scoring for the Miners, who led 1-0 after the first period. 

Jonah Surette would score twice in the second period, Drew McPhee added a single, and the Miners would take a 4-2 lead into the dressing room after 40 minutes of play. 

Jack Pitcher and Chad Edwards rounded out the scoring for the Miners in the third period. 

Congratulations to the U15AA Glace Bay Miners on bringing home the banner today!
