Valentines Day 50/50 Draw

Valentines Day is Monday so Glace Bay Minor Hockey has decided to do some extra draws this week!!
Extra draws include:
* 10 × $500
* Romance Package (one night hotel stay, dinner for 2 in Sydney, a gift basket and flowers

GBMH had the opportunity to have Jessica host a workshop for all the female hockey players several years ago!!

Restrictions easing

Starting Monday, February 7, restrictions are easing for sports practices and arts and culture rehearsals. All other restrictions will remain in place until February 14.

 

"Being cautious has served us well throughout the pandemic and we're continuing that approach as we develop plans to gradually ease restrictions," said Dr. Robert Strang, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Nova Scotia. "We're taking this initial step because we recognize the physical and mental health benefits of having full sports practices and rehearsals for arts and culture performances."

 

Sports practices and rehearsals for arts and culture performances can have up to 25 people indoors and 50 outdoors. They cannot have multiple groups, games or performances. Spectators are still not permitted.

Hi, It’s Tracey from GBMH, I’m calling to let you know you just won the Glace Bay Minor Hockey 50/50 draw....
For those of you who don't know, Tracey is the most popular person on the team. She makes the life changing phone call to the big winner each week. ??
Now, we asked her some questions about what it's like to be the person who makes those calls.
Tracey tells us the most common responses to hearing that they won? "Omg thank you so much!", "I won What??", "Are you joking?" and a combination of screaming and happy cursing.
Some of the strangest things she's heard was, "OMG I’m gonna faint!", "Oh blessed Jesus Mary and Joseph….I never made that in 30 years working in the pit!".
